SILLY RABBIT. EASTER WAS FOR THE LAMB
The superintendent of a Wyoming school district says rainbow flags and LGBTQ-related clothing are not banned in the school.
The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reported that school officials said they stopped students from waving both Confederate and rainbow flags at McCormick Junior High School in Cheyenne Wednesday because it was disruptive. Now the Laramie County School District 1 has issued a statement apologizing to s tudents in the Gay-Straight Alliance at McCormick and promising that LGBTQ-related apparel or rainbow colors at school are welcome. However, superintendent Boyd Brown said Friday that Confederate flags remained banned because they are “a hate symbol.”
TEXAS JUDGE HOLDS TANTRUM
Mills County Judge Ed Smith is attempting to have the 1st National Flag removed from the flagpole of the Veteran’s memorial in Goldthwaite.
He forced the issue to vote at last week’s Commissioner’s meeting. He was outvoted 3-1 but vows to keep yelling until he gets his way.
Meanwhile, in Austin, the state’s Skallywag governor and Democrats in the Legislature are resurrecting a bill to do away with Confederate Hero’s Day as a State Holiday.
MEANWHILE IN TYLER, TEXAS
The historic Smith County CSA monument on the Tyler square has been defaced. When KLTV reported the damage Smith County and Tyler officials were not even aware of the damage. The county is going to “look into it.”
MULLER REPORT CONDEMNS TEXAS CONFEDERATE RALLY
A Confederate rally planned in Houston in November 2015 was the “earliest evidence” that Russians attempted to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, according to the Mueller report released last week Thursday.
STATE OFFICES WERE CLOSED MONDAY
…as Alabama marked Confederate Memorial Day.
Only three states have official holidays honoring those who died in the WBTS. Alabama celebrates the day on the fourth Monday in April, while Mississippi’s commemoration takes place on the last Monday of the month, this year falling on April 29. South Carolina celebrates Confederate Memorial Day on May 10.
GOVERNOR BLACKFACE DEMANDS MONUMENT REMOVAL
The Daily Press reports that Ralph Northam’s office sent a letter to the Fort Monroe Authority Board of Trustees Thursday demanding removal of the Jefferson Davis Memorial Arch, a wrought-iron structure built in 1956 by the Army with $10,000 funding from the United Daughters of the Confederacy. In response, the board voted unanimously for removal, likely to be a lengthy process because Fort Monroe is designated a national historic landmark.
NON-HERITAGE NEWS AFFECTING THE SOUTHLAND:
The U.S. Navy is drafting new guidelines for pilots and other personnel to report encounters with “unidentified aircraft,” a significant new step in creating a formal process to collect and analyze the unexplained sightings – and destigmatize them.
TRYING TO PREDICT AN UPCOMING SUPREME COURT DECISION
The supreme court’s conservative majority seemed ready on Tuesday to uphold the Trump administration’s plan to ask about citizenship on the 2020 census.
There appeared to be a clear divide between the court’s liberal and conservative justices in arguments in the case.
Three lower courts have so far blocked the plan to ask every US resident about citizenship in the census.
Three conservative justices, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Clarence Thomas, had expressed skepticism about the challenge to the question in earlier stages of the case, but the chief justice, John Roberts, had been silent, possibly suggesting a willingness to disrupt the administration’s plan. However, during 80 minutes in a packed courtroom, neither Roberts nor Kavanaugh appeared to share the concern of the lower court judges who ruled against the administration.
Kavanaugh, the court’s newest member and an appointee of Donald Trump, suggested Congress could change the law if it was concerned that the accuracy of the once-a-decade population count will suffer. “Why doesn’t Congress prohibit the asking of the citizenship question?” Kavanaugh asked near the end of the morning session.
Kavanaugh and the other conservatives were mostly silent when the solicitor general, Noel Francisco, the administration’s top supreme court lawyer, defended the decision of the commerce secretary, Wilbur Ross, to add the citizenship question. The liberal justices peppered Francisco with questions about the administration plan, but they would lack the votes to stop it without support from at least one conservative justice.
The supreme court is hearing the case on a tight timeframe, even though no federal appeals court has yet to weigh in. A decision is expected by late June, in time to print census forms for the April 2020 population count.
“DIXIE-CIDE”
by Al Benson, Jr.
Al Benson, Jr., is the Editor of the Copperhead Chronicle. In addition to writing for Southern Patriot and other publications, he is a member of the Confederate Society of America and the League of the South.
Once I had someone ask me if Jesus had ever “officially” abandoned Israel. This The term “Dixie-cide” came to mind, for some unknown reason, early this morning while I was still in bed. It was too early to get up for the day, and, being a night owl (when I do much of my research and writing) I am not noted as an early riser.
Wanting to assure myself that this term was not original with me, I checked it out on the internet and found that this term had been used in an excellent article by Dissident Mama back in 2017 that was published by the Abbeville Institute. I don’t recall seeing the article at the time, but with my faulty memory, I may have and just don’t remember.
I’ve read some of Dissident Mama’s articles on various topics over the years and have usually found myself pretty much in agreement with the sentiments expressed in them. We are, as some would say, pretty much on the same page. So as I went back and read the Dixie-cide article I had to agree with the sentiments expressed therein.
Dissident Mama started the article off with: “Modern progressives are just as evil in their bloodlust against the South as were William Tecumseh Sherman and Philip Sheridan. Todays leftists may not yet be waging the shock-and-awe total warfare that the Union generals inflicted upon Southern civilians (whites and blacks alike) and their dwellings, businesses, churches, infrastructure, and food supply, but their aim is still the same: to have the Southern tradition and her people ‘annihilated and destroyed’.” I can’t disagree with that verdict. It should be obvious to anyone who is even remotely paying attention and who doesn’t have mush for brains. The only difference between Sherman, Sheridan, and today’s leftists is that, so far, today’s leftists do not have federal warrant to commit their acts of atrocity-yet! I’m sure those socialists in government who parade themselves as Democrats would dearly love to find some way to authorize the blatant misdeeds of the left so they could legally turn them loose on the South. Even worse than them are those in back of them, behind the curtain, as it were who are the ones really promoting the bloodlust against the South and her people. These are the unelected rulers we never hear about but who are, in reality, the ones pushing their Deep State agenda against us in the South. And as far as those in other areas, who look at what is being done to us in the South and do nothing to defend us or our heritage, just wait. When the Deep State and its leftist toadies in congress and the media get through with us, then your “time in the barrel” will be coming. The South is not the only target of leftist vitriol-it’s just the first target.
I guess you could define “Dixie-cide” as “The willful hatred of and willingness to destroy any and all remembrance of Southern history, heritage, culture, and people in the South.” Sound extreme? It isn’t! After all, if Sherman wanted Southerners “annihilated and destroyed” what makes you think more modern leftists want anything less? They learned from Sherman. Question is, who did Sherman learn from? Possibly from Lincoln’s Marxists?
Dissident Mama noted that “Sherman said that his motive was the ‘extermination, not of soldiers alone…but of the people’ of the South. Sherman undoubtedly had in mind, in pure leftist fashion, the recolonization of much of the South by fine, upstanding Northern abolitionists and other apostates. What better way to do away with the mostly Christian culture of the Old South than by re-peopling the South with Northern unbelievers and agnostics (Sherman was an agnostic) after a requisite number of Christian believers had been “exterminated?”
Sherman didn’t quite get everything he wanted but his spiritual descendants in Antifa and other such organizations are busily at work in our day trying to fulfil his greatest expectations. The wanton destruction these people are visiting on the South by their destruction of our monuments and the desecration of our cemeteries and the tearing down of our flags is but the first stage of Sherman’s fondest dream of Southern annihilation. After the flags and monuments are gone, what (or who) comes next?
If they can’t “annihilate” us all then at least they can make sure that they so destroy our history and heritage that our children and grandchildren will know nothing about what their ancestors did or why they did it. They are using our schools even now to fulfil that purpose. If you doubt that, ask your grandchildren about what is being taught to them in school about their history, culture and heritage. You may not like some of the answers you get back.
The South has been under attack, both psychological and physical, since before the War of Northern Aggression commenced and that attack has not abated. If anything in recent years it has increased. One of the main problems in all this is that so many of our people have been so bemused by the drivel presented by the mainstream media as “entertainment” that they have lost the ability to discern what is being done to them and to their children. That’s not by accident.
To the extent that has been done, Dixie-cide has been successful. Many will say, even in our churches, that our heritage and history don’t matter anymore. I respectfully disagree. I feel that if our heritage had not been mostly Christian it would not be under such assault. This is far more than a political issue. It is a spiritual issue and only when our people wake up and begin again to realize that will we be able to resist.
Today someone sent me a link to a video, a you tube video I think. The title was The Attack on the Confederacy-Wolf Age and it was narrated by Stephen McNallen. It was not terribly long but Mr. McNallen did a good job with it. Readers might find it instructive.
Don’t get conned, y’all
by Dissident Mama
Dissident Mama is an apologetics practitioner for Orthodox Christianity, the Southern tradition, homeschooling, and liberty. Recovering feminist-socialist-atheist, graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and retired mainstream journalist turned domesticated belle and rabble-rousing rhetorician.
So, smart moms in two homeschool social-media groups of which I’m a member are super-excited about Hillsdale College’s free “Constitution 101” course. “Hillsdale’s conservative, so it must be teaching Christian-centered history,” they say.
“Hillsdale doesn’t accept grants from the federal government or participate in federal financial-aid or student-loan programs. How principled,” they opine. “Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin both endorse Hillsdale as being an ‘authority on the Constitution’, so it must be quality curriculum,” they hope.
Hey now, not so fast. Let’s not take all these assumptions on face value.
For years, I’ve been receiving and reading Hillsdale’s monthly mailed newsletter Imprimus, which highlights guest lectures, speeches by visiting professors, and articles by intellectuals associated with the college. It sometimes features valuable articles by modern thinkers I respect and offer up opinions that are not status quo. But not always.
In fact, Hillsdale as a place of learning is overall a neocon institution. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, like history professor Brad Birzer, and his wife and history lecturer Dedra Birzer.
Much has been written and discussed about neoconservatism. In short, they were ex-Trotskyites who abandoned the left decades ago, and they and their descendants have been pushing for foreign interventionism, open borders, and giving up on the culture war, all while claiming to be for “Founding principles.” These wolves in sheep’s clothing pretend to be patriotic, yet undergird the very ideologies that are tearing America apart.
“… With the modern displacement by the Neocons of the traditional (and Southern) conservatives and their opposition to the growth in government and to the destruction of those bonds and traditions that characterized the country for centuries, the results we observe around us do not augur well for the future.”
– Dr. Boyd D. Cathey
Larry P. Arnn, who delivers the first video lecture, is president of Hillsdale and also on the Board of Trustees of the Heritage Foundation – a neocon think-tank that alleges to advocate for limited government and fiscal responsibility, but simultaneously lobbies for foreign entanglements and “spreading democracy” through bombing campaigns. In other words: globalism a la the military-industrial complex while America burns.
This isn’t guilt by association. Rather, it’s just connecting the dots. So, is it any wonder that I’m skeptical of this free Constitution course? Therefore, I signed up to see what all the fuss is about.
One need look no further than the welcome email. The “about” section describes how the course will dive into “the Declaration of Independence and The Federalist Papers,” yet no mention of The Anti-Federalist Papers.
So, already we know that the curriculum is slanted toward the Hamiltonian view of America, and not the decentralized view of Founders like Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson, George Mason, Sam Adams, Richard Henry Lee, and James Monroe. Thus, Hillsdale is planting their flag on the hill of empire, not that of states’ rights. THIS is a problem, my friends.
With the most charitable view possible, I understand that this could be an oversight. After all, many learned people don’t even know that there’s a collection of writings called The Anti-Federalist Papers, which argued that the U.S. Constitution would grow the federal government and eventually lead to an all-powerful executive branch akin to monarchy. Prescient, wouldn’t you say?
In fact, if it wasn’t for the anti-federalists, we wouldn’t even have a Bill o f Rights – the only fleeting safeguard against federal overreach and the complete eradication of our God-given liberties. These amendments sure ain’t a cure, but can you just imagine how even more embroiled in tyranny our lives would be without it? Okay, this was probably just an innocent mistake, you say. So then, let’s take a gander at the “overview” portion of the email. Hillsdale faculty who teach the lecture series tell us that “American political history is defined by three great crises.” Number One: the American Revolution. No duh.
Number Three: progressivism. Yep, couldn’t agree more. But Number Two? Hmm. Here’s what they say.
“The second crisis was the crisis over slavery that culminated in the Civil War. While the Founders had opposed slavery in principle, but had been forced to compromise with the institution in practice for the sake of the Union, the rise of the ‘positive good’ school of slavery in the South marked a turn away from the Founders’ principles, and their practice. In response, Abraham Lincoln explained and defended the Founder’s approach.” No, no, no. This is complete historical revisionism. It’s the stuff of Marxist Eric Foner, Straussian Harry Jaffa, and plagiarist and “Lincoln idolater” Doris Kearns Goodwin, who’s wont is to demonize Robert E. Lee as a foot fetishist. Yet, these snake-oil salesmen are all lauded as the popular “historians” of the Washington elite.
Why? Because they and their self-righteous ilk, like Victor Davis Hanson, Dinesh D’Souza, Jonah Goldberg, Ben Shapiro, and all the talking heads at Fox News (save Tucker Carlson), use this misinformation to construct a narrative of America as an “idea” that wasn’t realized until St. Lincoln “freed the slaves” and smashed those evil racists below the Mason-Dixon Line.
America must be cleansed of her “original sin” of slavery. It’s all presentist rubbish. Lincoln was no friend of the black man and certainly no freedom fighter.
In fact, no American’s ideology has ever been more contrary to Founding principles than was Dishonest Abe’s. Because of his totalitarianism and subsequent worship, we now have a federal government that micromanages every aspect of our lives, as well as increased social division. We have lost states’ rights and voluntary association, which were cornerstones of America’s founding. We have attained the “idea,” and people couldn’t be any unhappier. Kinda makes Number Three seem silly, now don’t it?!
We are living in the Hamiltonian vision of America, which metastasized into the cancer known as Lincolnian nationalism throughout the 20th century and has devolved into today’s “managerial state” (as the late Sam Francis called it). Out with the voluntary compact of sovereign states. In with the cult of Unionism and pegging Confederates as the heretics.
It is this “propositional nation” mythos which is the basis for all this ” reform” we’re drowning in today. It has opened the door for secular-humanism, radical egalitarianism, and universalism. It has smashed localism for centralization; destroyed equal justice under the law for the evils of “equality;” routed traditionalism for post-modernism; and annihilated self-determination for statism. The tale is how the neocons and their uber-leftist cohorts push for ” permanent revolution.”
And to do this, they must incessantly tear down the traditions that rooted Jeffersonian America up until 1861. Since the progressive notion of ” exceptionalism” was fashionably spreading across the growing 19th-century landscape, the remnants of subsidiarity that survived only in the South had to be extinguished to attain the nation-state. And because it is still the only place where this Jeffersonian ideal exists, her people must be maligned and their culture razed. In the name of “progress,” the South must continually be demonized and distorted in order to “deify the ideaof America.” To attain this new world order, the “pogrom against Southern history and symbols,” as historian Clyde Wilson describes it, must carry forward. It is the linchpin for the con.
Today, the invasion (Third-World socialists, instead of Yankee soldiers and carpet-baggers) and total war(political correctness, cultural genocide, and anarcho-tyranny, instead of amassed Federal armies invading, killing, raping, pillaging, and burning cities to the sea) may look different. But make no mistake, puritanical-progressive conquest and Reconstruction still roll on. There may not have been 700,000 deaths … yet, but the goal is nonetheless the same.
“The agents of Big Conservatism are just as responsible as are their leftist counterparts of seeking to fundamentally transform America by radically rewriting its history.”
– Jack Kerwick
If Americans get this wrong (meaning, the real crisis that occurred from 1861-1865 and the ensuing cultural Marxist “remaking” of America that has followed unabated), we cannot fully understand any history, much less have a firm grasp on current events, keen eyes for charlatans, or an understanding of modern threats which imperil any shreds of liberty that may be salvaged from the Lincolnian wreckage.
Like all good propaganda, the Hillsdale hearsay is peppered with grains of truth, giving it the illusion of fact. Christian homeschoolers, please do your homework before buying into this dangerous paradigm. Don’t get conned. After all, there’s nothing more important than truth.
Just because something’s free doesn’t mean it’s worth your time or money … or soul. In fact, it will end up costing your children (and their posterity) way more in the long run.
The New Americans–Radicals Extraordinary
by James W. King
James W. King is the Commander of Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp # 141 in Albany, Georgia.
The Justice Democrats are a new radical fanatical branch of the Democratic Party. They are even too radical for Nancy Pelosi and that’s saying a lot. California elects really obnoxious women as politicians. The last time anyone saw a group of four women the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, and Maxine Waters was when the curtain was going up on Shakespeare’s play Macbeth and they were stirring a cauldron. But these Justice Democrats exceed the radical politics of all but perhaps Waters.
They are new, bold, and full of hate. They hate whites, Jews, Christians, Conservatives, Republicans, and Patriots. They believe in Socialism, Communism, Sharia Law, abortion after birth, climate change, open borders, reparations (but not for southerners who were victims of Lincoln’s War of Northern Aggression), banning all firearms, repeal of the 2nd Amendment and Bill of Rights.
These “New Americans” believe in government taking over all business and production and the elimination of private property rights and personal freedoms (except for themselves). They believe in the construction of forced labor camps and punishment of all who question government authority and allowing the government to control and dictate the laws citizens (slaves) must live by. If you disagree that makes you a Racist and a threat to the future of America. Currently the most prominent outspoken ones recently elected by voters in Minnesota, New York, Massachusetts, and Michigan are Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib. Many others of this ilk were elected to lesser offices in states and counties nation wide. Georgia barely missed the election of one for governor.
The Justice Democrats plan to elect many more in the 2020 elections. They want to give the right to vote to illegal immigrants, felons in prison, 16 year olds, and everyone they can deceive and indoctrinate with their brand of Marxist Socialist Communism. Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, and Saul Alinsky would be very proud of them. Will America’s Constitution and Bill of Rights survive this coming Anti-American Tsunami? Many are the numbers of Americans who have already been deceived and indoctrinated. I am reminded of the song “Long Black Train” by Josh Turner. It sounds so good but I must Stay away. It’s only destination is the middle of nowhere. The Devil’s driving that long black train.
FROM THE EDITOR
Dr. Ed is a pastor, author, public speaker, radio personality, lobbyist, re-enactor, and the Director of Dixie Heritage.
In the last two months I have genuinely invoked the full-force of the left’s collective wrath. How? By simply using my editorials and radio show to expose the fact that there is virtually no difference between the border separations resulting from the President’s “zero tolerance” policy that separates children from their parents at the Mexican border, and the “Child Protection” and “Foster Care” systems in the United States.
I just can’t figure out why the same people who go berserk over 2,000 incidents – where the children of illegals are separated from their parents at the border – don’t utter a peep when states separate almost 300,000 children from their AMERICAN parents each year.
An endless parade of actors and other phonies constantly hector us on TV that it’s immoral to separate a child from its mother: Yet, they are oblivious to the fact that the laws in many states permit the theft of nearly a third of a million children from their parents each year. Many of these laws were enacted by the same liberal politicians who now tell us that it is “immoral” to separate kids from their parents.
While the separations at the border are unfortunate, the criminal activity of their alien parents have left the Trump administration with no other recourse. And the sad reality is that these illegal alien parents are essentially using their own children (or imposters) as “accessories” in the commission of their crimes.
Also, while the procedures and facilities used by the Administration to effect separation at the border are published and scrutinized by the media, the same leftists go to great lengths to shield the practices of state “Child Protective” agencies from similar public exposure, knowing that those agencies target AMERICAN children and families for much less humane treatment.
On June 1st, 2018, Texas Lt. Gov, Dan Patrick, went so far as to admit the same when he told the HOUSTON CHRONICLE: “And in terms of family issues, we do that with child protective services and social services in our country, where we find a child in a dangerous situation- so the left is trying to make a bigger issue out of this because they want an open border.”
In light of all this controversy surrounding child separations at the border – from both left and the right – why aren’t state “Child Welfare” and “Protection” systems getting the scrutiny and exposure that they long deserve?
While there are several family separations occurring at the border of Lt. Gov. Patrick’s state of Texas and neighboring Mexico, a greater number of separations occur at the border of California and Mexico. This is because most would-bealiens believe that they will fare better in liberal California than in mistakenly “conservative” Texas.
Cathy Senderling-McDonald – deputy executive director of the California County Welfare Directors Association- says that in her state, “There are required court hearings, with court-appointed lawyers, that begin no later than two court days after a child is removed from their parents. A petition must be filed at that time or the child is returned to the parents. Abuse and neglect on the part of the parents must be substantiated in court for the child to be in our system.”
Of course, this would lead us to assume that parents are receiving due process, including court hearings where the rules of evidence are followed, and, where the parents are allowed to have legal counsel. But such is NOT the case in many so-called “child welfare” cases, where there is absolutely NO due process to protect children or their parents.
Often, the “child welfare” case workers have already taken the children without a lawful court hearing. This is easily accomplished, since they have the discretion to declare any situation an “emergency,” after which they can immediately remove the children from parental custody on the spot. If the parents resist, the social worker simply calls the police who will amuse themselves by having yet another opportunity to play the role of “mafia enforcer.”
More often than not, lawfully prescribed court hearings do not come before the fact, they come after it. And to help clarify the legal mumbo jumbo, two “court days” usually means at least four or five calendar days and sometimes longer.
While that may seem like a short stay in State custody or “foster care,” it is long enough to emotionally scar a child for life. For very small children it is quite traumatizing to see force used against their parents and then be taken away by strangers. In itself, that scenario is usually a far greater instance of abuse than whatever neglect any parent had been accused of.
Separating the child from its parents before the hearing severely disadvantages the parents and benefits the government. Then, to complicate matters, parents are often discouraged from hiring an attorney, or told that doing so will jeopardize their chances of seeing their children. (Did I fail to mention that most government agents are very convincing and expert liars?)
Moreover, if the family is permitted to retain an attorney, it is almost always a public defender or “Legal Aid” attorney (i.e., some guy who barely graduated from a Night School Correspondence College of Law,) who literally meets his clients for five minutes before the hearing and then makes the identical pleading for every “client,” regardless of circumstances.
Those who assume that allegations of “abuse” must be substantiated are simply not familiar with the process. Child protection hearings are always held in a civil court – not criminal – so as to avoid the requirement for strict legal standards and traditional rules of evidence.
Traditional legal standards such as “beyond a reasonable doubt” or “clear and convincing” evidence do not apply in these “civil” proceedings. Agency caseworkers are allowed to get away with nebulous standards such as “a preponderance of the evidence,” or more realistically, the “because I say so” standard of justice.
Finally, presiding over the whole shenanigan is a “judge” who normally hears civil cases. If he must run for reelection, he knows that if harm should befall a child he reunites with its parents, the bad publicity could cost him reelection. So there is an incentive to simply rubber-stamp the agency’s findings and keep the child in foster care. This is true even when the agency fails to make a case and even when he knows the children will be harmed by the system. This is the wisest course for the judge, and many judges have admitted to it.
In John 3:19-20 our Lord said that, “this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”
This is why in most states these “child protection” hearings are more secret than a FISA Court proceeding, with severe criminal penalties for anyone – especially a parent or attorney – who would dare attempt to expose the process. To my knowledge, the only judges ever impeached in the State of Texas were targeted for daring to question the State’s “Child Protective Services.”
Let me put this another way, if you or your family found yourself in legal jeopardy, would you say: “Just give me a public defender who has no real time for my case and try me in a kangaroo court that can convict me on uncorroborated hearsay in a secret trial”? Or would you insist on your right to “due process”?
So while Cathy McDonald and her ilk argue that the foster care system is not a place “where the children are pulled away from their parents and placed into warehouses with thin blankets, chain link fences and only each other for comfort,”the reality is that the “Child Protection” gestapos are traumatizing over 100 times as many children as those recently separated from their parents by Border Patrol agents.
And unlike the Border Patrol agents, who have had a crisis thrust upon them, the so-called child “protectors” actively seek out hundreds of thousands of AMERICAN kids, making sure to increase the number every year so as to justify their agencies existence and increase its funding.
And rather than placing them in temporary shelters, they rip their young victims away from their parents and place them in institutions where abuse is well documented, a fact that leads us to ask how much more abuse goes undocumented?
If that’s not bad enough, they literally drug the kids with dangerous psychiatric medication. And the “Child Protection” agencies will keep their kids in a custody far worse than prison and far longer than the Border Patrol keeps kids in it’s custody. Worse, the Border patrol often turns the kids in their custody over to the real child abusers, i.e. the “Foster Care” bureaucracy.
Even if one accepts that the intent of “child protection” and “foster care” is to serve the best interests of the children, that does not in any way change the result. And that horrible result is perhaps the ONLY thing that the two situations – separating children at the border and separating them for “child protection” – have in common. A connection that the media, the politicians, and the “foster care” apologists are desperate to ignore.
Whether the child is ripped from his mother or father’s arms by a border patrol agent or a policeman at the request of a “Child Protective Services” worker, the tears are the same and the trauma is the same.
My prayer is that what happens on the border will be a wake-up call for patriotic Americans. Would to God, the next time President Trump is called a monster for tearing children from their parents at the border he simply use his bully pulpit to tell us all who the real monsters are and why. President Trump by the way has the power to commute the sentances of millions of Americas kids imprisoned within the “system.” The liberals on the other hand are hoping that we all just change the channel.
