Another War Memorial Vandalized in Florida!!!!!!!!
Our Protection Bill has stalled…meanwhile another veteran memorial has fallen victim to desecration!
UNTIL THE PROTECTION BILL IS PASSED…WE ARE HOLDING THIS REPUBLICAN LEGISLATURE RESPONSIBLE for not protecting these veterans memorials!!!!
Please call the following representatives and demand that HOUSE BILL 97 be heard and passed out of the Criminal Justice Sub Committee.

These two legislators who are on the Committee and are from Lee County, should know about what happened with their local memorial and that there is a bill pending that might have prevented it!

I’m calling about House Bill 97.
I was outraged by what happened to the Lee County Memorial this week.
This is the third monument that has been vandalized/attacked this year.
I hold the Republican Legislature responsible for not passing House Bill 97 that would protect our veterans memorials in Florida.
The Representative serves on the Criminal Justice Sub Committee and the committee but the Committee has not put the bill on the agenda yet.
We need the Committee to HEAR and PASS the bill…NOW!
This is a disgrace to our veterans!

Background
This week the Lee County Memorial, the bust of the County’s Namesake, General Lee, was attacked. See more details HERE.
This is the 3rd veterans memorial that has been attacked this year!
(Freeport Veterans Park Walk of Honor and the Sarasota V-J Day Monument were also vandalized)
James Grant has still not hearing the Soldiers & Heroes Monuments & Memorial Protection Bill. And his ‘too busy’ excuse isn’t holding water!
This week…his committee ISN’T EVEN MEETING!!
Meanwhile, a 3rd veterans memorial has been vandalized THIS YEAR in Florida. This time the Robert E. Lee Memorial in Fort Myers. Lee, of course, is the namesake for Lee County. THEY will be coming after the County Name NEXT!
