Twitter Account Inciting Criminal Activity Exposed

HISTORIC PRESERVATION GROUP EXPOSES TWITTER ACCOUNT TARGETING LOCAL STATE PARK FOR DESTRUCTION
CALLS FOR CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION
Bradenton – At a News Conference held earlier today, Save Southern Heritage-FL exposed a Twitter Account inciting destruction of public and private veterans’ memorials in Florida.
“The account @DestroyStatue has over 2000 postings of public and private veterans’ memorials with an engraved invitation to commit mayhem including the destruction of private property and possibly personal injury” said David McCallister, spokesman for Save Southern Heritage-FL (“SSH FL”).
The Account’s “Tweets” list the name, address and GPS coordinates, along with a picture, of public and private veterans’ memorials. The Twitter Page name is “Destroy This Statue”.
McCallister noted “followers of this Twitter Account include New York Anti-Fa and Florida Anti-Fa members who have made threats to “do it like Durham” in places like St. Augustine.”
The Account shows that in the last 3 days, 3 sites in Florida have been ‘tweeted’ including the Munn Park Memorial in Lakeland. The list includes Gamble Mansion State Park, where the Manatee County Commission seeks to send the Manatee Historic Courthouse Monument “for safety”.
SSH-FL has reported this site to Twitter’s CEO and also to Florida Attorney General Bondi. (Links to Letters here:

“Not only do we believe this account violates Twitter policies but it also incites criminal destruction of public and private property” McCallister said.
SSH FL is a member of the “Bring It Home” Coalition to restore the historic Manatee County Courthouse Veterans’ memorial to its proper location, which exposed Sen. Bill Galvano’s complicity with Domestic Terrorist organizations, including Anti-Fa, by not pressing for protection and preservation of Florida’s military monuments. “You can’t sit on the fence on this one. You’re either with Anti-Fa or against them. We hope Sen. Galvano will do the right thing and come out for bringing the memorial home” concluded McCallister.
SAVE SOUTHERN HERITAGE Inc. is a not for profit corporation that educates & advocates on behalf of the preservation of Southern Heritage & History. It was started in 2015 in response to the knee-jerk Anti-Southern institutionalized bullying and “Eracism” levied against the people of South Carolina by Governor Nikki Haley, after she broke all previous agreements about how South Carolina’s historical veterans and their symbols should be treated and respected.
