Whenever we post about the fact that Lincoln’s war was a war of extermination of the Southern people, we actually get clowns who say some of the stupidest things. Not ignorant, although ignorance is literally spewed on this Page by some. We mean plain, old stupid. But you must understand, those people, by and large, are newcomers to the country. 1st, 2nd or perhaps even 3rd generation NEW “Americans” who are as ignorant as the day is long. As we’ve told you before, our enemies are not the Sons and Daughters of Union veterans, whose people were deceived and thought they were fighting to maintain the union. Our enemies are tares sown in our “field”; newcomers and outsiders who know nothing. Those whose fathers were serving kings and tyrants in Europe while our Revolutionary War fathers were winning self government for us.
Yes, Sherman said this:
“We are in our enemy’s country and I act accordingly. The North may fall into bankruptcy and anarchy first , but if they can hold on the war will soon assume a turn to extermination, not of soldiers alone, that is the least part of the trouble, but of the people.”

And so, it did indeed turn into a war of “extermination” just as we told you. We told you so.
