RACISM: CONFEDERATE FLAG vs. PLANNED PARENTHOOD
HEARD HOW RACIST THE CONFEDERATE FLAG IS?
We’re sure you have. Who hasn’t? Over the last two years liberals have been screaming from the rooftops about the racism they feel is original to the Confederate Battle Flag. They’ve lead campaigns to have Confederate Flags and monuments removed, to have the memory of Confederate veterans defamed and disgraced, and to brow beat their opponents across the U.S. Then, in the same breath, you will hear these liberals defend the organization known as Planned Parenthood. Comparing the numbers behind the Confederate Flag and Planned Parenthood helps reveal why the liberals are focusing so hard on Confederate symbols to distract from the organization they’re protecting.
SLAVERY
In 1860 the number of slaves in in the States that would officially secede to form The Confederate States of America was roughly 3,200,000. Five years later slavery would be a thing of the past. As insidious and damning as this sounds to a modern liberal college student, you would think there could be nothing that could possibly stand as a bigger offense to the black community. But lets take a look at the other side.
PLANNED PARENTHOOD WAS BORN IN HATE
Planned parenthood was founded on October 16th 1916 in Brooklyn, New York by Margaret Sanger. Sanger was born in Corning, New York in 1879. Sanger would become a birth control activist, sex educator, writer, and nurse. While all of this sounds harmless, after all we are talking about an organization founded in New York by a northerner, Margaret Sanger adopted an ideology that would reveal her true intentions for the organization.
Margaret Sanger was a eugenicist. Eugenics is a philosophy and science that aims to improve the human population through breeding and elimination of undesirable traits.
Margaret Sanger made so secret of what she viewed as undesirable traits. In a 1939 letter Sanger wrote, “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population-“, and went on to reveal her intention to use black spiritual leaders to help when she said “the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members”. She proposed that Congress create a “Parliament of Population” to allow the government to “direct and control the population through birth rates and immigration. She claimed that her various methods of population control, to include abortion were simply “defending the unborn against their own disabilities”. She advocated for “a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation”. She believed that married couples should have to apply for a government license in order to be allowed to have children. She even said “The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it,”.
Her methods of population control didn’t just involve the death of children. She also called for the elimination of immigration of people she felt weren’t suitable. She believed the United States should “keep the doors of immigration closed to the entrance of certain aliens whose condition is known to be detrimental to the stamina of the race, such as feebleminded, idiots, morons, Insane, syphilitic, epileptic, criminal, professional prostitutes, and others,”.
BY THE NUMBERS
According to their own annual report, Planned Parenthood conducts over 300,000 abortions every year. Last year alone they did 323,999 abortions. That’s roughly 887 abortions every day, 37 abortions per hour, one abortion every 97 seconds. The argument is often made that only 3% of Planned Parenthoods operation consists of abortion. But that misleading statistic falls apart when you divide the number of abortions they conduct every year by the number of patients they treat. Roughly one in eight Planned Parenthood patients undergoes an abortion. In comparison to abortion, many other Planned Parenthood services hardly exist. They conduct 160 abortions for every 1 adoption referral. Planned Parenthood only does 0.97% of the nations pap testing and 1.8% of the nations breast exams while conducting 30.6% of the nations abortions.
Between 1978 and 2014 Planned Parent conducted 6,803,782 abortions. Abortion wasn’t legal when Sanger opened her first birth control clinic in Brooklyn, New York legalized the procedure on July 1, 1970. The next day the New York clinic conducted its first abortion. In fact, The Chicago Tribune reported that 58 abortions were conducted in New York that day. No official numbers exist on how many abortions Planned Parenthood conducted in the early 1970s. It wasn’t until 1978 that official numbers were made available. They show that abortion rates skyrocketed from roughly 70,000 in a year in 1978 to 323,000 in a year according to the 2014-2015 report.
Every year Planned Parenthood received millions of dollars in tax payer dollars, so these abortions are Government Sponsored. Their latest report shows that roughly 40% of Planned Parenthood’s revenues come from government health services grants and reimbursements (state and federal) for a total of $553.7 million in 2014.
PLANNED PARENTHOOD AND RACISM
97% of Planned Parenthood clinics are located in minority communities. African Americans make up 13% of the U.S. population, but roughly 35% of abortions are conducted on African American women. According to their own numbers, Planned Parenthood aborts roughly 850 black babies every day. This shouldn’t come as a surprise considering who founded the organization. Margaret Sanger was a eugenicist who formed the organization with the intention of “eliminating undesirable traits”. Is it coincidence that minority communities are home to 97% of Planned Parenthood Clinics?
WHY LIBERALS DEFEND PLANNED PARENTHOOD
White Liberals will stand on a sidewalk with a “Black Lives Matter” flag while they’re giving a speech defending Planned Parenthood. White Liberals will argue about the pain, oppression, and disadvantage that the Confederate Battle Flag inflicts to members of the Black community today while they advocate for a company that kills nearly 1,000 black babies every day. This simply further exposes the White Liberal agenda to control and manipulate the black community as it has done for generations.
Democratic President Lyndon B. Johnson said “I’ll have those n*****s voting Democratic for the next 200 years”. Democrats have played both sides against the middle with the Black community for years, making empty promises and leaving the black community high and dry after elections and claiming to be champions of civil rights and “eradicating white supremacy”, while they defend an organization that systematically ends black lives on a daily basis. They do this while they point at the Confederate Battle Flag and yell “Racist!”
Hypocrisy? Or an attempt to hide a more sinister agenda?
