Subject: The attack on American heritage illustrates the impotence of heritage and veterans organizations!
To: Charles Demastus , Rush Limbaugh

The battles going on in New Orleans over the Confederate Statues is just a small skirmish in the war over American history and heritage.

The great betrayers of American heritage are the heritage and veterans organizations and their members – that is the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the United Daughters of the Confederacy, but it is also the Sons of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the American Revolution. It is the Sons of Texas, and the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Every one of these groups was formed to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Every member of every group takes an oath. And at every meaning they begin their meetings by stating their purpose for existence.

And then they sit down.

And sit is all they do.

I was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans for nineteen years, and have been a member of the American Veterans for twenty-six years. And in the end, it meant nothing.

But, I don’t just blame the leadership. Just as I do not blame the political leadership of the United States for the mess we are in now.

When I was First Lt. Commander of the State of Texas, SCV, and the “ruling elite,” the DEC suspended me, did the membership rise? Not a peep. I learned a great lesson…talk’s cheap.

This nation, the United States of America, was supposed to be different. It was supposed to be founded on a citizenship, on a people who believed in Jesus Christ, and the Bible and who on a people who would govern themselves! Right and wrong was defined by God. Citizens were to promote the Christian faith. No one could be forced to be Christian, but…not in a church? Then you don’t vote!

Being a Church member was the first requirement for voting in the colonies! But hey, that’s history, and we don’t want to know that.

America is in decline, but all people do is grip.

I want to begin an organization of patriots. I want to begin a Christian organization that defends the Constitution. I want to begin an organization proposed by Alexander Hamilton…he called it the Christian Constitutionalist Society. He proposed it in a letter, but died before he could start it.

But, I don’t want an SCV, or a VFW. I want an organization that works, donates and votes after consulting the God of Abraham and the Christian Bible, and the Founders and their Constitution. I want an organization that reflects real personal commitment to Christ.

America is dying, but the Light was in the people, and its just not there anymore.

There’s an expression you get what you pay for. But in a democracy…the cost is time, commitment, wisdom, blood.
