Dear Montgomery County School Board Members:
I am greatly surprised by the steps you are taking to insure that the students in your school district receive
no knowledge nor education regarding the Confederate Flag nor the real reasons that the Un-Civil War was fought.
I am not sure from whom you get the power to strip students of their Constitutional right to learn.
Evidently you enjoy power and back stabbing more than you appreciate the blessings of knowledge, truth and liberty.
To post on a bulletin board that the Confederate Flag can be in any way compared to a Neo-Nazi or Black Power Hate group
shows that you are indeed inebriated by the exuberance of your own mellifluous verbosity. You need to reign it in, educate yourselves,
and stop trying to condemn your students for seeking knowledge. You simply don’t have a clue.
The Flag stood for the rights gained and blood-sacrifices made by our forefathers in the Revolutionary War. But since you have no knowledge of this,
you are all too willing to accept a perverted and corrupt explanation of what it is. You are simply involved in Southern Cultural Cleansing in the first degree,
much as happened in Bosnia.
We will be following your vote and actions closely, and will be in touch with each of you to see if you are made of finer stuff or simply flimsy political correctness and
ignorance.
Don’t let your students down. They depend on you to try to help them learn the truth. You have no right to take that away.
Sincerely,
David Morgan
