Karen Cooper, a black woman living in Virginia, is rocking the boat after claiming that she believes that the Confederate flag “represents freedoms” rather than oppression and racism. This goes directly against the story the liberal media is trying to tell, and as you can imagine, liberals are furious.
“I feel I’m a slave now because the federal government does control me,” Cooper says in “Battle Flag”, a documentary. “I can’t drink what I want to drink. If I want to put something into my body, it’s my body, not theirs. That’s tyranny!”
“I’m not advocating slavery or think that it was right,” Cooper clarifies. “It wasn’t and none of my friends think it was. It was just something that happened. It didn’t just happen in the South—it happened worldwide. But yet and still, it’s only the Southerners and only the battle flag that has all the weight and the guilt on it. It’s not right.”
