Why apologize?

Apologizing to whom about slavery?
There aren’t supposed to be any slaves left unless you count the millions of people who are receiving government entitlement checks. This liberal idea was supposed to lift people out of their poor economic situation.
Instead, it made sure that they stay just where they are and will always be.
If you want to apologize to someone, it should be native Americans who you stole this country from. Any descendent of any slave who is an American citizen now should be eternally grateful instead of looking for an apology.
Maybe you should apologize to the millions of starving people around the world for not having been descendents of slaves freed in the U.S. after the Civil War.
Maybe you should apologize to the thousands of white people who died to end slavery.
I really would like to know how low you liberals will go just to get votes.
In 10 of the worst battles during the Civil War, 162,632 Union soldiers died to end slavery, and 138,065 Confederate troops died.
Don’t you think this ultimate sacrifice by so many people is enough without an apology from people who had nothing to do with slavery?
