Dear Brethren (nearing 1-thousand bcc herein- permission to forward),
Communiques such as these (herein & below) are as Telling as they are Moving, but they also underscore what we have been saying for many years- Don’t be miss-led by others who use
Blind Patriotism as a means to influence or cloud your ability to think and separate the forest from the trees!
We have talked about this for a number of years and have gotten slammed because ‘others’ have spun it using Emotion to advance their machinations of deceit, thereby eliminating the prowess of the argument altogether.
After all, what Family today hasn’t had loved ones fight in one War or another and thus the subject-matter relative to resulting conditions associated with politics vs. patriotism gets deliberately clouded and lost.
This does NOT bode well for us (the American People) because it often results, particularly today, in allowing this Federal Government to get us involved anywhere within this world at any time and often, at the drop of a hat.
War today has become all too commonplace and when War is accepted as part of the ‘Daily Condition’, we as a People have turned one Ugly corner.
War, as ANY soldier will tell you, should be but the end result and last option before all else.
But War today has become synonymous with some very shady deals and postulating, involving some very shady people who conveniently hide behind the cover of Corporation and Government influence.
And when you cross or ‘marry’ that element with the Political Element and those sorry ‘Parties’ in POWER today, we have one helluva formula for disaster.
When Bush told us that “we need to spread ‘Democracy’ (there’s that word Democracy again) around the world”, my skin CRAWLED.
First off, who in the hell is he to make such a declaration of commitment that gives license to the Power Brokers in Washington to make us an International Policeman….’Officially’?
Secondly, it automatically created a Foreign Policy for Republicans and Democrats alike to DO whatever and GO whenever…. their MOOD struck them.
Additionally, Bush created “Their War on Terror” AND THAT IS THE ONLY THING, ONLY THING, CONGRESS HAS BEEN ABLE TO AGREE ON SINCE.
Essentially what that created for them, is a Legal License to go wherever and do whatever in the name of National Security because “TERROR” lurks somewhere by their collective definition.
The word Terror in of itself is nebulous and to create a Never-Ending Foreign Policy based upon such ambiguity is MADNESS!
This is INSANE and who dies and pays for this?
I am NOT a peace-nik as every member of my Family was represented in WW II, Korea and VietNam.
But what is going on here is BLOOD for MONEY and this Marxist President DOESN’T even bother to get this pathetic Congress involved any longer when it comes to Military Involvement.
He simply issues an Executive Order, doesn’t even bother to acknowledge the bogus War Powers Act, and ALLOWS for the Bombs to begin dropping ANYTIME & WHEREVER.
Hell, they have given themselves license to KILL ANY AMERICAN CITIZEN WITHOUT TRIAL OR DUE-PROCESS IF THEY ARE REMOTELY SUSPECTED OF COLLABERTING (TALKING) WITH AN ‘ENENMY’ THEY CLAIM TO BE AN ENEMY’.
We have CROSSED the Rubicon as a friend of mine said not long ago.
Folks, this is a Stacked Deck containing incredible Political Power of such Structure AND IT IS GETTING LARGER AND LARGER BY THE DAY!!!
Our TROOPS are fighting and dying and, as Ron Paul has stated, “For What?”
Look, this is NOT a question about guts and glory or whether or NOT our Boys can fight- we have, sadly, answered that question one too many times.
This is a Question of Political Involvement and whether or NOT we should be where we are and the Attitude of this Federal Government today.
This is the real question because too MANY SPEACIAL INTEREST’S ‘INTEREST’, is the real and obvious question.
These Politicians today do NOT represent the INTERESTS of the People but dance to another’s tune and have been dancing to it for one too many years.
And the consequence of their many Kabuki dances has brought us to this time and place when everything is suspect up to and including our very own Government.
The few in office who make any sense are far outweighed by the ‘PreTenders’ who, when ultimately found out, simply ride off into the sunset with a FAT PENSION AND PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE but NOT BEFORE THEIR MANY FOUL CREATIONS AND DAMAGING ENDEAVORS HAVE ROBBED US OF LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF OUR HAPPINESS.
This is the American condition of today and it has NOTHING TO WITH PATRIOTISM! NOTHING!
It has every bit to do with Common Sense and that Lost History associated with that Republic that our Founders created THAT this Federal Government has ABBROGATED from and frankly, DESTROYED, and re-created in their IMAGE.
Again, to question is NOT being NON-PATRIOTIC….but indeed the character of Paramount PATRIOTISM.

Subject: Now hear this—all you Marines! and American patriots
My beloved first spouse was Colonel Patrick Herbert Hampton Harrington– USMCR . He received the highest medal given in peace time and I do not know why. I was married to him then. The medal was given posthumously for active duty service. He had a regular commission , served in the corps and was a Captain when he went into the Reserves.
No man love the corps or our America or our South more than he. He was up for General— said to have been selected but he died. His War of Northern Aggression great, great grandfather was General Leroy Augustus Stafford, who served in the war against Mexico and then was killed at the Battle of the Wilderness . Pat Harrington was likely a collateral relative of Confederate Wade Hampton. )(OI have proof of his relationship to Stafford, but have not pursued his connection to Hampton yet.
For ten years after Pat’s death I was unable to see a Marine uniform.without dissolving into tears.
There is not a doubt in my mind that the Marines contain the finest of American males. Not surprisingly the Corps held more Southerners than men from other parts of the nation. God bless the Marines, one and all.

The Marines on this list are well aware of who Smedley Butler was. If you haven’t read his book, "War is a Racket", you are doing a disservice to yourself.
A few notes about him: Smedley Darlington Butler (1881-1940), nicknamed "The Fighting Quaker" and "Old Gimlet Eye," was a Major General in the U.S. Marine Corps, and at the time of his death the most decorated Marine in U.S. history. By the end of his career he had received 16 medals, five of which were for heroism. He is one of 19 people to be twice awarded the Medal of Honor, one of three to be awarded both the Marine Corps Brevet Medal and the Medal of Honor, and the only person to be awarded the Brevet Medal and two Medals of Honor, all for separate actions.
Butler exposes the truth about the unconstitutional oath violators that inhabit Congress and the White House. He exposes the Council on Foreign Relations or CFR, as well as the New World Order, Federal Reserve, and International Bankers.

Most of the elements contained are exactly the reasons many Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen are supporting Ron Paul. Paul has the largest military drawing of the current candidates.
