The Southern Heritage Community has a great opportunity to educate the public and sponsors are requested.
A Florida History Museum, the Florida Pioneer Museum & Village in Dade City, Florida, is having a festival on the 1st weekend of Black History Month (Feb. 6 & 7). www.pioneerfloridamuseum.org
Terry Lee and HK Edgerton have offered to come to the museums’ annual FarmFest and Quilt Show and present a living history about Southern Black Africans. The museum has accepted the offer, but need a sponsor to facilitate travel ($500).
The sponsor would be entitled to signage at the event, which attracts 3000-5000 residents from Central Florida.
