On Saturday, November 7, 2009, at the invitation of the local American Legion Post in the beautiful City of Clinton, Tennessee, the Sons of Confederate Veterans would fall in rank and began to march in a parade held to honor the U.S. Veterans. Ironically, as other Veteran organizations across the country have chosen to ban the Sons from entering their Veterans Day Parades with the Southern Cross, disregarding Public Law 85-425: Sec. 410, the American Legion Post here would not only invite the Sons to march, but would also give them a place of honor alongside all the other military service branches in a ceremony at the town courthouse after the parade.
As I marched alongside the Sons and their entourage, not one citizen would complain or stop me from hugging their children or themselves as I strutted with the Southern Cross amongst them. The Sons were greeted with robust cheers all along the parade route.
On Wednesday, November 11, 2009, I would once again don the uniform of the Southern soldier, and head out for a parade that was supposed to honor United States military veterans. However, for the second year in a row, the American legion Post #2 in the City of Knoxville, Tennessee chose to ban the Southern soldier from carrying his colors in their sponsored parade, thus ignoring Public Law 85- 425: Sec. 410, which states: The Administrator shall pay to each person who served in the military or naval forces of the Confederate States of America during the Civil War a monthly pension in the same amount and subject to the same conditions as would have been applicable to such persons under the laws in effect on December 31, 1957, as if his service in the military or naval forces of the United States.

By Federal Act of Congress (May 23, 1958) all Confederate Veterans are United States Military Veterans, and deserve all the rights and honors pertinent to such service.
***They are thus not only recognized as United States citizens, but fully as Federally recognized member of the United States military (with Veteran’s status) as well.
The American Legion Post #2 of Knoxville, Tennessee has joined the ranks of those who would usher in a period of Southern social and cultural genocide while disregarding the laws of this land under the reconstruction modus operandi, and Lincoln devised pretext that it is far the Black populous, which in all regards only benefits those poverty pimps who only fill their own coffers while stripping Southern Blacks of their honored heritage and loyalty to the South.
