Chuck,
II have two requests for all readers. I am seeking a Jeff Davis quote that I recently read on one of your newsletters. All I can remember is it said something about not fighting for slavery or slavery was not the cause.
Also I would like any references where Confederate POWs were killed after surrender. Fort Blakely is the only incident that comes to mind.
