Thank you for devoting the Tuesday Feb. 14 issue of SHNV to Ron Paul politics. To me carrying out the "Charge" given to Sons of Confederate Veterans in 1906 by former Confederate General Steven Dill Lee means the necessary involvement in current politics and an effort to elect politicians who support and adhere to the principles and values of our Southern and Confederate ancestors and Americas founding fathers who were to a considerable degree Southern Gentlemen from Virginia-Washington-Jefferson-Madison-Mason & others.
I will also take this opportunity to thank you for the years of hard work and all the effort to provide SHNV and Freedom Watch. I save documentation, facts, research, articles, and information posted on these sites for use in writing letters to the editor, guest commentaries, and composing programs for monthly SCV meetings, and speeches for annual Confederate memorial services. SHNV has been one of my primary sources of information.
