Chuck,
So the NAACP wants us to tell “the whole story” of the Confederacy? Well, how about telling “the whole story” about the Union and especially it’s treatment of blacks. Even more to the point, let’s hear “the whole story” about the NAACP and how they represent only a certain group of blacks. As well, let’s hear about the fact that because they have no real point of existence anymore, how they justify collecting members and money by choosing an anti-Southern, anti-Confederate position as the new reason to exist? Let’s stop giving these folks a “pass” and acting as if they have a legitimate right to demand anything.
