A quick heads up on the book, Southern Invincibility: A History of the Confederate Heart by Wiley Sword, mentioned in your latest email.  This book is anti-Southern, denigrating of Southerners in my opinion, and I hate to think people would read your listing, and think you were endorsing it, which I doubt you are.  I don’t have any ax to grind with Wiley Sword, BTW, who is a friend of mine.  It’s just that his books are not balanced, and represent faulty scholarship, viewed overall, and he is aware of my attitude in this regard.  We laugh about it when we see each other.  I call him my best, most biased, Yankee friend, who never met a fact he couldn’t distort beyond recognition.  He denies he is a Yankee, BTW, but I follow the looks like, sounds like, must be, philosophy.
