Mike, the S.C.V. is a wonderful organization but, we should not wait on anyone to take the lead. We should be the leaders of Southern heritage & following no one. We should be setting the example & everyone else should be following us.
Yes, if we sue the likes of the NAACP, SCLC, SPLC etc. in court for violations of our rights we might lose, this is the fear that holds too many of us back. However, if we do not fight them then we have already lost this war.
Besides, I can think of no war where every battle was won but, they had to be fought in order to achieve a final victory & this is what S.C.V. and ALL Southern heritage groups need to be united in doing. Cure the cause & stop continually fighting the symptoms.
