South Carolina Confederate Flag Issue
The Confederate Flag is under pressure again to be removed from the grounds of the South Carolina Capital. A bill has been introduced in the South Carolina Legislature to remove the flag and put it in a museum. Furthermore, Democratic candidates for Governor of SC are calling for the flag removal, especially candidate, Mullins McLeod. The Confederate Flag issue may be a defining issue of the race for Governor of South Carolina for Democrats and Republicans. Residents of South Carolina are encouraged to ask Republicans candidate hopefuls to take a stand.
Confederate Flag Rally. Where? Columbia, at the South Carolina State House, it will be held: "SAT. JAN 23, 2010 11am-3:00pm". Everyone from all states are encouraged to attend.
