It’s time to turn up the heat and bombard this city councilman office with phone calls and emails.
Lee Harris is the prejudiced black councilman that proposed the ordinance to change the name of all three historic parks in the downtown area, Forrest Park, Confederate Park, Jefferson Davis Park. The third reading and vote is the coming Tuesday March 5th at 3:30 p.m.
Lee Millar spoke with him today by phone and Harris said he plans on going forward with the proposed ordinance Tuesday and the historic park names have got to go.

We need everyone across the country to call or email this man. Tell him what a mistake he’s making and the racial division his actions will cause. Tell him he’s making Memphis the laughing stock of the country. Tell him how the headlines and racial tension will convince prospective companies looking at Memphis to choose another town.
Keep your communication business like and keep to the high ground. Let’s don’t give him a minute of peace between now and Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
Secondly, we need to fill the entire auditorium for the City Council meeting beginning at 3:30 p.m. Memphis City Hall 125 N. Main St. Memphis, TN.
We need to show the rest of the city council members that a great majority of community does not support this racial move on Harris’ part and hopefully influence their vote.
