It does not surprise me that in a majority-black city such as Memphis you would allow Wendi Thomas to only print selective aspects of Nathan Bedford Forrest’s life. What does surprise me is that in this era where we applaud the turnarounds in the lives of bad-boy public figures, you fail to print information showing the same about Forrest that is readily available to anyone with a computer.

Nathan Bedford Forrest disbanded the Klan when he saw the negative direction it was taking. If one chooses to research a little further, they will find his thoughts and attitudes concerning blacks made a 180-degree turn. Please, when you print so-called facts, print all of them.
