Good morning Mr. Edgerton,

My name is Joseph Smith AKA Rebel-N-Black, as you can probably see I’m in the military. Anyway I was writing because I would like to say you are so amazing. I use to think that I was the only black person that loved the south and the confederate flag in the world. Until I found your website, I am also from North Carolina. Eastover to be exact, I grew up on a farm in Godwin and we moved to Eastover when I was 13.

People ask me all the time how can I belittle myself and I explain to them all the time that the south wasn’t the way everyone is led to believe, that the north made everything into their ways and that’s what textbook teach. They never teach our side of history, our heritage just the yankee version. Anyway I’m going on and on I just wanted to tell you thank you for everything that you are doing, cause you made my day when I found your website and if I can help in anyway please let me know. My personal email address is just_joe_bo75@yahoo.com. You have a good one!!
