Museum of the Confederacy

Chuck,
After reading Bill Vallante’s piece about the Museum of the Confederacy, I was reminded of the question I always have when we look at their situation. Why can’t we have good members run for positions on the board of the MOC? It would seem that most members of the MOC would be supporters of Confederate heritage. Could we not get good men elected and ‘take over’ the board and eventually take control? I would think that in such a position, we could steer the MOC more towards the SCV, which I think would complement the MOC’s work. Having a board and administration which does not have the desire to preserve Confederate heritage makes no sense at all. If they do have ancestors, they do not seem to care as the SCV does, for the good name of the Confederate soldier.
Yours in the Cause,
