Minnesota Heritage Violation

From: jkingantiquearms@bellsouth.net

Compatriots,

I just spoke with the mother of one of the boys ( Daniel Fredin )whose heritage was violated in Bloomington Minnesota. Three boys were denied participation in graduation exercises because they had brought a Confederate flag to the school parking lot several days earlier.

The 3 boys are: Daniel Fredin, Joey Snyder, and Justin Thompson. I explained that our Southern Legal Resource Center had successfully defended Miss Jacqueline Duty in Kentucky several years ago when she was denied participation in the senior prom because her dress featured a Confederate flag.

Our SCV compatriot and SLRC attorney Kirk Lyons responded to my initial post. Read his reply posted below. He is already working on this matter. I am sending some educational material to Daniel Fredin explaining the true meaning of the Confederate flag, the causes of the war, and why the CSA and the Confederate flag should be honored, respected, and remembered.

I have already been in touch with one of the boys and we are working on finding local counsel. There was no disruption AND this is very similar to Jacqueline Duty’s case.

Compatriots,

Many of you are probably aware that students in Minnesota were denied the right to participate in graduation exercises because they brought Confederate flags to school several days or weeks prior to graduation. They are receiving their diplomas but were barred from participation in graduation.

This case appears to be similar to the case where Miss Jacqueline Duty in Kentucky was denied the right to wear her prom dress which featured the Confederate flag. Perhaps we could file suit and get these Minnesota boys enough money to go to college.

The principal was black. The spokesman for the Bloomington Minnesota school system is rkaufman@bloomington.k12.mn.us I sent information to him but have received no reply as expected.

What are we going to do about this Heritage Violation?
