The Story of Amos Rucker
A Confederate History Minute (13) by Calvin E. Johnson, Jr.
http://georgiaheritagecouncil.org/site2/commentary/johnson-confederate-history-minute13.phtml

The article says (and I have read before) that Mr. & Mrs. Rucker’s tombstones are gone, but the caretaker knows the location of the graves.

I for one think that it would be very much to the point for the local Sons of Confederate Veterans, United Daughters of the Confederacy, and Order of Confederate Rose to get Mr. Rucker another veteran’s marker, and a similar marker for Mrs. Rucker.
