I have read with great interest your various posts and can say you are a hero to me. As a brother in Christ willing to defend a cause which has been tarnished and desecrated is inspiring to me. I would like to thank you for being yourself and not allowing the politically correct machine to brainwash you like so many of our fellow Americans.
I am one who feels that our republic was destroyed in 1865 by centralists in Washington City. State sovereignty was also a victim of that horrible war just like so many plain folk of all creeds regardless of background. It was the introduction to the concept of scorched earth. Sherman’s Army spend 10 days in Meridian Mississippi waiting for General Smith’s cavalry to show up and move into Selma to destroy the Iron Works and foundry there but had to turn back when Forest stopped Smith. Sherman did not take a vacation but used the time to destroy, burn, rape and pillage the entire town when afterwards he sent a gleeful wire to Grant exclaiming “Meridian no longer exists”.
Now we celebrate Sherman, Grant and Lincoln as heros but I do not. I look to Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson and you.
