Hitler or Lincoln?
The next time some lame-brain tries to draw an analogy between the Confederacy and Nazi Germany, ask them who said this:
“…individual states of the American Union . . . could not have possessed any state sovereignty of their own. For it was not these states that formed the Union, on the contrary it was the Union which formed a great part of such so-called states."
No, it wasn’t "Honest Abe" talking. It was Adolph Hitler, in "Mein Kampf." That should shut them up.
And while I don’t own the book, nor do I plan to purchase it for the purpose of having one quote in my possession, the "source" for the quote is a good one – Prof. Thomas DeLorenzo. http://mises.org/story/973
