Severe Heritage Violation…Alabama

For those of you who do not know this, the Alabama Division’s DEC approved a $5,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator(s) of the crime against our Heritage in Selma last week. Likewise, IHQ has matched that sum with an additional $5,000.00.
 
I spoke with Pat Godwin of the “Friends of Forrest” organization (who erected this monument) last night and she asked me to please relay her most sincere thank you to the Alabama Division, SCV members, for your support in trying to apprehend those guilty in this travesty.
 
As well, a private donor matched the $10,000 donated by the SCV with an additional $10,000. Billboards are going up in the next few days to get this information out to the public. Hopefully, the guilty party or parties will be caught quickly, and swiftly punished.
