Getting It Right!

Mr. Ashwood’s comment is exactly correct for far more reasons than he gave. No one should desire that a government of any people should educate their children if they want their children to reflect their family’s morals and world views.

There are 55 million elementary and secondary school children in the United States. 8 million of those children, or around 15-17%, are educated independent of state schools: 6.5 million children attend private schools, and 2 million children are home schooled. In Virginia 17% are homeschooled and about 20% attend church schools. Many times the church schools are using some of the same textbooks and largely teaching the same world views. However there is a new generation who have not bowed their knee’s to the god of egalitarianism.

The homeschool figures estimated from a study released in 2004 by the United States Department of Education, National Center for Education Statistics – which showed an increase in homeschool children from 850,000 in 1999 to 1.1 million in 2003. We are beginning to get it.

In 1999-2000, there were 27,223 private elementary and secondary schools operating in the United States according to Education Statistics Quarterly. In 2001-2002, there were 29,273 private elementary and secondary schools operating in the United States according to Education Statistics Quarterly.

Private schools were the original schools in the United States and were called public schools. What we call "public schools" are actually "government schools." I call them "indoctrination centers." Private schools account for 24 percent of all elementary and secondary schools, 10 percent of all students, and 12 percent of all full-time teachers.

The current records show "The number of students independently schooled (private and home) in the United States is about equal to the number of public schooled students in the following 25 states (and Washington, D.C.) COMBINED: Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming, and Washington, D.C."  With USA socialists and communists getting more confident there is a revolution likely in the future but this one will be conducted against the socialist/communists who are in power.

The studies show "The number of students independently schooled (private and home) in the United States is: 1) Nearly twice the number of public schooled students in Texas, 2) Almost three times that of New York, and 3) Almost 2 million more than in California. The number of HOME SCHOOLED children in the United States is equivalent to all public schooled children in the following 13 states (and Washington, D.C.) COMBINED: Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming, and Washington, D.C."

To save our culture we MUST educate our own children, and millions of families are already doing so. There is a great support system for parents who choose this option. When we send our children to the government to be educated all of our whining becomes fairly empty. It is not easy but educating our own children can be done and it is being done.

If your child graduates from a government high school, he has a greater chance of spending time in prison than do children who were drop-outs. The figures are radically lower for home schooled children. They do not tell you these things at a government school PTA.
