Have you heard about the New Mexico Tea Party July 4th Parade Float? It had an AOT CBF, and it won 1st place! Sadly, the City’s Mayor isn’t happy about that. LET HIM HEAR FROM YOU. Here’s his email:

Here’s my letter to the mayor:
"Good day, Mayor Miyaagishima,
I was deeply saddened today, actually quite offended!
But not buy what you may think, but by how you criticized a symbol a love and that represents struggle against governmental tyranny.
That symbol, the Battle Flag of the Army of Tennessee, admittedly may have been co-opted by ignorant, un-informed people.
However, to pander to ignorance, certainly is offensive to the informed and educated.
I expect you’ll be hearing from a few more like me that are tired of having their ancestor’s graves spit upon!
If you look at your history, Mr. Mayor, I am certain that you will discover that veterans played a great contribution….and I suspect you’ll find that includes many Confederate Veterans. Perhaps you have heard of this Senator Thomas Catron?

I understand that you probably have gotten some heat from the ignorant, uninformed, or worse yet, those seeking to use ignorance as a divisive lever point. I request that you do our research and retract the hurtful, offensive statements that have been reported in the press.
