Cynthia McKinney was indeed the bane of Southern heritage as Georgia Congresswoman, but she’s come a long way. On some issues she’s still a communist tool/fool, but on others she’s way smarter than some Confederates I know, not to mention 99% of her fellow politicians.

Alas, she probably still hates the South and the flag, but we must be grateful for paleo-conservative (i.e. classically Southern) themes wherever they may pop up.
