I’ve just purchased a battle flag “dog tag” for the veteran in Memphis who has been denied his flag. However, how can we be sure that the flags we’re being asked to send to him will actually be delivered and not just given to his family or, worse, disposed of by the hospital administration? We certainly do not want the flag in any manifestation to be disrespected and even destroyed – perhaps in a particularly foul way – by people who are of the opinion that their particular agenda and/or race gives them the right to disrespect the rights of others.
 
Maybe you can look into the matter with those asking that the man be contacted and provided with support so that we can be sure that our “gifts” reach their intended destination.
