Hey Folks, it is that time of the year once again. As many of you remember last year was the first Christian Confederate Heritage Celebration here in Jesup, Georgia, C.S.A. (yankee occupied territory).
By God’s grace it was a great success and once again, only by His grace, we’re having another Christian Confederate Heritage Celebration. This once-a-year celebration of our chiefly Christian Southern cultural heritage is a combined effort of the Georgia League of the South, Wayne County Chapter, and the Captain James Knox Camp, SCV Camp # 2022.
The date, location & time of this event:
The sixth Day of the eleventh Month, the Year of Our Sovereign Lord & Saviour Jesus, The Christ, Two-thousand Four. Right here in downtown Jesup, at the H.J. Westberry Park. The event will start at 10 am until it’s over.
Speakers for this event (among others):
Sarah Jones – League of the South, Wayne County Chapter
Ray McBerry – Chairman of Georgia League of the South
Pastor John Weaver – Freedom Baptist Ministry; Georgia LS
Henri Klingler – Southern Patriot
Michael Tubbs – 1st Vice Chairman for the Northeast Florida LS chapter; Florida Division Chaplain for the SCV
Music will be provided by Bobby Mountain.
Re-enactors from Company K and Company D of the 26th Georgia Infantry will join us as well.
This event will once more be recorded by FILMIT Productions, Inc.
(Roi and Allison Crapse)
This year we will do things just a little different. Instead of having dinner at a restaurant, SCV Camp 2022 will provide delicious Southern BBQ and fixin’s at very reasonable prices right there at the park.
As we petition our Heavenly Father for a sunny day, I hope yall will join us the sixth Day of the eleventh Month, the Year of Our Sovereign Lord & Saviour Jesus, The Christ, Two-thousand Four to celebrate our chiefly Christian Southern cultural heritage for which our Southern Confederate sires of the Confederate States of America fought and died.
As stated at TheSouthernNation.com:
It is time for all Southerners who love liberty and the truth to stand up and make this proclamation: "In Dixieland I’ll take my stand! With faith in God and a firm reliance upon His providence, I will not apologise to anyone for who I am. I belong to the Southern nation, and the Southern nation belongs to me! I will not sell my birthright for a mess of yankee pottage!"
