A real Confederate Daughter

Having just received a copy of your January 2nd issue, I’m sure my letter is one of many already received addressing the topic of your article entitled "Oldest Living Confederate Daughter."

First, I was very disappointed to find that this was not a Confederate daughter, but a Yankee daughter. I was also shocked to realize that the person or persons responsible for the headline were not aware of the difference.

I would suggest that one might interview a Real Confederate Daughter, for a well-needed history lesson.  But hurry, as they are few and far between.
