UNCW Film Students Tackle 1898 Race Riots
The troubling thing about this is that one, the young students are in no way equipped to provide objectivity and balance in the telling of this tragic part of Wilmington history; two, they are no doubt using fictional and one-sided accounts recommended by UNCW and the leftist professors there; and three, the story claims that local museums have indicated that they will show this film to audiences who unfortunately will accept its viewpoint as fact. Hopefully, the students will recommend the website www.1898wilmington.com as a valuable resource in understanding this conflict and what led to it.
