Demopolis City Council Addresses Damaged Monument

Demopolis City Council addresses damaged monument January 20, 2017 by Stewart Gwin   The Demopolis City Council used the majority of its meeting Thursday to discuss the future of the Confederate Monument that was damaged when an on-duty police officer struck the monument in the early morning hours of July 16, 2016.   With over 40 in attendance, Mayor John Laney opened the meeting by explaining that the meeting was not a public hearing; rather, it was an open meeting that offered the public the ability to witness the city council carry on its business.   Laney announced that the city has closed on the acquisition of the property required to expand the road near the chip mill at the airport industrial park. The engineering firm has been contacted and work is to begin soon. Attorney Scott Stapp of Manley, Trager, Perry, Stapp & Compton said that they were reviewing the procedure currently in place for dilapidated housing and had no report for the council at this time. The firm hopes to simplify the procedure in the future.   In unfinished business, Councilman Nathan Hardy said that the Roman Alley access project is still underway and he met with property owners recently on the project.   Councilman Charles Jones updated the council on the Decatur Street ditch project.   “P.O.s are in place and pipes have been ordered,” said Jones. “We’ve still got some issues with the water department, so we’ve got to get with them to work those out.”   The final agenda item in unfinished business was the Confederate Monument.   Laney updated those in attendance on the status of the monument.   “Number one, there was an accident where the statue was hit and the Confederate soldier atop the statue fell off the statue and it’s broken…

Two Veteran Monuments Vandalized In Florida This Week

Press Release – December 19   Media Contact: Save Southern Heritage Florida Spokesman: David McCallister 813-778-1202 Email: floridasshe@gmail.com   TWO VETERAN MONUMENTS VANDALIZED IN FLORIDA THIS WEEK VETERANS GROUP CALLS FOR INVESTIGATION AND ENHANCED PROTECTION OF ALL VETERAN OBSERVANCES   Tampa – In a disturbing trend of continued violence against memorials to American Veterans, two more monuments were reported vandalized last week.   In Tampa, on overnight Tuesday, vandals wrought thousands of dollars of damage on Veterans Memorial Park. The granite memorial was defaced in three places with the letters “BLM”. Additionally, three 20′ flag poles were bent 90′ at the base, and the flags posted were burned.   The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office is conducting an investigation. The total damages may be in excess of $1,000, eligible for a 3rd degree felony conviction.   In Gainesville on Tuesday, vandalism was discovered on the “Old Joe” Cenotaph to Veterans of Alachua County who served during the War Between the States. This is the second vandalisation of this Veteran Cenotaph, the first time being after a Alachua County Commission meeting prior to a vote by the Commission to move the monument from County property to appease a social justice activist that has since moved out of the area. The discovery was made after another meeting of the Commission after another activist, Faye Williams, threatened the Commission with a protest if the monument is not removed, calling it a symbol of ‘white supremacy’.   “Law enforcement has indicated to us that incident like these are related” said David McCallister, Save Southern Heritage Florida spokesman. “Disrespect of Veterans memorials is beneath deplorable” he added. “Floridians realize monuments to dead heroes should be off limits as billboards for social protest and want tougher punishment for damage to these somber, sacred Observances”, McCallister said.  …

Black Activist Threatens Protest Over ‘White Supremacist’ Statue

Press Release -December 14, 2016   Media Contact: Save Southern Heritage Florida Spokesman: David McCallister 813-778-1202 Email: floridasshe@gmail.com   PRESS RELEASE BLACK ACTIVIST THREATENS PROTEST OVER ‘WHITE SUPREMACIST” STATUE   Gainesville – During yesterday’s meeting of the Alachua County Commission, a self proclaimed ‘peace loving’ community activist called for an end to “White Supremacy” in Gainesville through the removal of the “Old Joe”Cenotaph at Alachua County Government center.   About a dozen people showed up to speak in favor of keeping the veterans cenotaph on the Alachua Co. complex, but after their remarks, Faye Williams, whose Facebook page promotes peace, issued a confrontational threat to the Commission and the citizens in attendance promising that “its not over” and “I’ll guaranty that statue comes down”.    “Hard working Americans are tired of being called racist” said David McCallister, Save Southern Heritage – Florida spokesman. “Ms. Williams is out of step with America and is not working for unity but is in fact, promoting division and hate between Americans” said McCallister. He cited President Barack Obama’s interview on “The Daily Show” where the President promoted using diplomacy to “appeal to the better angels of our nature” to improve race relations rather than name calling. “Ms. Williams’ main argument for moving the Veterans Cenotaph has been that it is ‘racist’”. “That’s a shop-worn expression, which, after a year, has lost its sting” McCallister added.   “Ms. Williams insulted all the citizens in the room as well as the Commissioners by threatening to practically riot in protest to demand removal of the statute” McCallister added.   The Commission is expected to agenda discussion on the monument in January or February after it receives the formal report from the Alachua County Veterans Advisory Board. The Board unanimously voted in November, just after Veteran’s Day,…

Lake City Votes To Protect Veteran’s Observances

Press Release -December 6, 2016   Media Contact: Save Southern Heritage Florida Spokesman: David McCallister 813-778-1202 Email: floridasshe@gmail.com   PRESS RELEASE LAKE CITY VOTES TO PROTECT VETERANS OBSERVANCES   Tampa – FL On Monday in a unanimous vote, the Lake City City Council voted to adopt an Ordinance to protect monuments to Florida veterans in the City.   “We are so pleased that Lake City has decided it is time to respect monuments to those who were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice” said David McCallister, Save Southern Heritage – Florida (“SSH FL”) spokesman.   In the last year dozens of monuments to American Veterans have been threatened around the Country, and several have been moved. Recently, the WWII Monument in on the Mall in Washington, DC was vandalized. “Americans understand the significance of the monuments for the service of our Veterans and they believe they should be protected. In many cases, these monuments take the place of an actual grave, as many veterans’ final resting place is unknown” said McCallister.   In the aftermath of the Presidential Election, some Veteran monuments were vandalized by being used as a billboard for social protest. In Richmond, VA, monuments were painted with the words “your vote was a hate crime”. In New Orleans, the Gen. Robert E. Lee monument was painted with multiple messages including “F%&* White People”.    “We commend Lake City for taking this step, but they can do more. Floridians expect stricter penalties for vandalism, and stronger protection for these Veteran Cenotaphs” said McCallister. “Florida is a pro-veteran state and Floridians understand how we treat yesterday’s veterans today signals how today’s veterans will be treated tomorrow” he added.   SAVE SOUTHERN HERITAGE Inc. is a 501 c (4) public welfare corporation that educates & advocates on behalf of…

Criminalization And Protection Of Veterans Observances Needed In Election Aftermath

Press Release – November 10, 2016   Media Contact: Save Southern Heritage Florida Spokesman: David McCallister 813-778-1202 Email: floridasshe@gmail.com   PRESS RELEASE CRIMINALIZATION AND PROTECTION OF VETERANS OBSERVANCES NEEDED IN ELECTION AFTERMATH   Tampa – Veterans and other Americans have watched in horror as memorials to Veterans have been desecrated, used as political billboards by anti-Trump protesters in the aftermath of Tuesday’s Presidential election.   Wednesday in Richmond, Virginia, in the early morning hours the monument to former Mexican War Hero, West Point Graduate, US Secretary of War, and later President of the Confederate States of America was dessecrated with the words “Your Vote a Hate Crime”.   This dessecration seems to be part of a wider effort of lawless protesters to spew hate. In Tampa, a march through Ybor City by Black Lives Matter turned confrontational when it encountered a group of Marines observing the anniversary of the founding of the Marine Corps on Wednesday night.   Meanwhile, late Wednesday, protesters in New Orleans, Louisiana, burned an effigy of Trump on the steps of the Robert E. Lee Monument, and after dark fell, the monument turned into a large billboard that included the hateful phrases: “Die Whites Die”, “We Are Coming”, “F&*$ Trump”, “F*#$ White People”, “Black People are Ungovernable”. The monument vandalizm was accompanied by damage to nearby property induding glass being broken at a nearby bank.   According to Breitbart News, “students’ holding signs reading “End white supremacy” originally gathered on the steps of the Lee Circle monument before the demonstrations turned destructive”.   Over the past year, other veterans monument have also been vandalized, most recently the WWII Monument in Washington, DC. This is particularly offensive to some native Americans the target was the North Dakota piller, as the famous ‘code talkers’ were from North Dakota….

Confederate Flag “Deplorable” Stance Rejected By Florida Voters

Press Release – November 9, 2016   Media Contact: Save Southern Heritage Florida Spokesman: David McCallister 813-778-1202 Email: floridasshe@gmail.com   PRESS RELEASE CONFEDERATE FLAG “DEPLORABLE” STANCE REJECTED BY FLORIDA VOTERS   Tampa – The election results are in and Floridians from Pensacola to Key West who identify with Florida history and heritage cast their ballots in droves against the Presidential Candiate that disrespected them and their families.   “Floridians remember seeing Hillary Clinton on TV last summer saying ‘the Confederate flag should not fly there…it should not fly anywhere’” said David McCallister, Save Southern Heritage – Florida spokesman. “Floridians are tired of being branded “deplorable” because they are Christian, Southern, or are just patriotic” he added.   Clinton came out strongly applauding the actions of South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley by breaking the compromise agreement that placed a Southern Cross on the Confederate Veteran monument on Capital grounds in Columbia, South Carorlina.   South Carolinians spoke loudly in the Republican Primary last year rejecting Republican front runner Jeb Bush for the same stance.   “Floridians are tired of the dis-respect of their Southern heritage, and elected officials should take note that voters in Dixie are not going to stand for this” said David McCallister. Presidential hopeful John McCain suffered the same fate after his flip-flop on the issue.   “Diversity includes Southerners…but they have been pushed away from the table of brotherhood…and that dog won’t hunt in Dixie” McCallister added.   SAVE SOUTHERN HERITAGE Inc. is a 501 c (4) public welfare corporation that educates & advocates on behalf of Southern Heritage & History. It was started in 2015 in response to the knee-jerk Anti-Southern institutionalized bullying and “Eracism” levied against the people of South Carolina by Governor Nikki Haley, after she broke all previous agreements about how South Carolina’s…

Dixie Heritage – Friday, October 21, 2016

Dixie Heritage Newsletter – Friday, October 21, 2016   Preserving the history of the Southern states took a huge step Saturday with the groundbreaking of a new National Confederate Museum to be located at historic Elm Springs in Columbia, Tennessee.   The 17,000 square-foot museum will look modern and contemporary on the outside, but with a subdued architecture utilizing period-appropriate construction techniques to attain a level of authenticity.   The museum is an effort to keep alive the histories of the Southern soldiers who fought in the CWBTS as museums across the country change their collections and interpretations of the cultural history known as the War of Southern Independence, according to the Sons of Confederate Veterans.   “Time and time again, we have seen where our monuments and museums throughout the South have been dictated by the state and federal governments on what they can and cannot do. That is coming to an end,” Paul Gramling, Lt. Commander-in-Chief of the SCV, said. “At the completion of this museum, it will be out of the reach of the long arm of political correctness. This will be ours, as SCV members, [United Daughters of the Confederacy] members, Southerners to tell the truth between 1861-1865.”   The General Executive Council of the SCV began its efforts to establish a museum dedicated to the Confederacy in October of 2008 with the intent of serving two purposes. One was to open new office and administrative space for Elm Springs employees and SCV members. The other purpose is to serve as the museum, which will take up approximately 65 percent of the building, project architect George Nuber said.   About $5 million was raised for the effort.   “I’m very honored to be a part of this, and this is a great privilege to learn about…

GO DAWGS! – Donald Trump and Black Confederate Lives Matter

From: Dixie Heritage Newsletter (director@dixieheritage.net) Date: Fri, Sep 30, 2016 Subject: GO DAWGS! – Donald Trump and Black Confederate Lives Matter   A few months ago, the Virginia Flaggers raised money to purchase (2) massive 20′ x 30′ Mississippi State Flags, and sent them to Oxford in preparation for a roadside battle flag project there. It appears that one of the flags somehow made its way to the student section, and was unfurled as a show of support for the great state of Mississippi, and as a protest to Chancellor Vitter’s decision to cave to the PC demands of leftists and remove the state flag from campus.   The results were phenomenal. The crowd cheered and shouted in appreciation and awe as the massive flag waved and was seen by thousands!   There are reports that the flag was confiscated by the police shortly thereafter, who also carried out orders to harass students wearing a state flag sticker, carrying a sign, or carrying a state flag (without stick!)…   BREAKING: “Police Confiscate Flags, ‘Dixie’ signs at game. Threaten Arrest.” University of Mississippi – 9/17/2016   “Students attending the Ole Miss v. Alabama football game this Saturday at the University of Mississippi reported police confiscating Mississippi State flags and ‘Let the Band Play Dixie’ posters within Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium. University Police Officers were quoted by students as saying they were, ‘ordered to take all state flags and [‘Let the Band Play Dixie’] posters,’ that their orders came, ‘from the top,’ and that they would use their, ‘right to arrest,’ those who did not comply. United States flags and non-Mississippi State flag or Dixie related posters were not confiscated.   Our friends at the “Our State Flag Foundation” report that while they have no clue who organized the giant flag unveiling, it has…

Welcome To (Almost) “Free Mississippi”

Welcome to (almost) “Free Mississippi”   by Al Benson Jr.   Welcome to (almost, but not quite) free Mississippi, where your state flag is not welcome on college campuses and where you can be threatened with arrest if you dare to carry it on campus. The folks that run many of these colleges and universities, not only in Mississippi but in other parts of the country as well are cultural Marxists, which means, in plain language that they are often the “nice” Marxists. They won’t cut your throat but they will try to steal your kids’ heritage from them. And if they happen to work at a state college then you are paying them to do this with your tax money. Comforting thought isn’t it?   So the state flag is no longer welcome at Ole Miss and other places in Mississippi as well. But the people that run many of these centers of “education” would be more than willing to have Communist flags on campus, or flags representing the black liberation movement or the transgender movement. This, they believe, would demonstrate their penchant for “diversity” or multi-culturalism or whatever they are calling their particular brand of prejudice nowadays. I’m sure that when folks start to catch on they will change the names again.   I remember, years ago now, a school I knew about on the East Coast (the original Left Coast) brought in an identified Communist to teach the kids committed to their charge how to do “community organizing.” When a local pastor called them on that they told him “We like to expose our students to all different viewpoints.” Of course having someone from the John Birch Society in to lecture the students would never, and I mean never, have occurred to them. They wanted to be…

Tampa Democratic Senate Candidate Narian Wants To Dig Up Veteran Graves

Press Release – August 25, 2016   Media Contact: Save Southern Heritage Florida Spokesman: David McCallister 813-778-1202 Email: floridasshe@gmail.com   TAMPA DEMOCRATIC SENATE CANDIDATE NARIAN WANTS TO DIG UP VETERAN GRAVES   Tampa – Ed Narian’s tagline is “People Not Politics”, but his answer to a recent candidate survey indicates otherwise, falling into line with the hate politics of the NAACP in their campaign to purge all vesiges of the Confederacy from Florida’s public spaces.   In a recent Candidate Survey, Narian (Democratic Candidate for State Senate District 19) stated that he believes the graves of American Veterans who served for the South should be dug up if they are buried in public parks or cemeteries.   Narian was the most extremist respondent to the Survey, earning him a “F-“Heritage Rating in the recently released Candidate Voter Guides.   In addition to digging up graves, Narian also wants to remove Confederate imagery from all public places, and offered to sponsor/co-sponsor or support a bill like his opponent Rauson did in the Florida Legislature last session (HB 0243/SB 154). This bill, if passed, would have prevented residents from wearing or displaying any imagery relating to Confederate Veterans on government property throughout Florida. It would also have created liability for any governmental entity that allowed imagery on public spaces, like a Southern Cross on a headstone of a veteran in a cemetery.   SSH FL is ever mindful of the slippery slope of incrementalism that moved from ‘take down the flag” to an all out siege on Southern American history including digging up graves. “First they took down the flags, then they pulled down the monuments, now they’re digging up the graves” said David McCallister, SSH FL spokesman regarding the NAACP’s anti Southern Campaign that was launched by State Head Dale Landry…

Are You A Terrorist? The Government Thinks So.

From: Dixie Heritage Newsletter Date: Thu, Aug 11, 2016 Subject: ARE YOU A TERRORIST? The Government thinks so.   Confederate soldiers are also U.S. veterans.   The government recognized Confederate veterans as equivalent to Union vets via the Congressional Act of 1900, signed June 6, 1903, the Congressional Act of 1906, by the 17th Congress in February 1929 and U.S. Public Law 85-425, Section 410, of May 1958.   These famous Americans were also descendants of Confederate States of America veterans:   Marine Gen. John A Lejeune’s father was Confederate States Army Capt. Ovide Lejeune. Marine Lt. Gen. Lewis “Chesty” Puller’s grandfather was CSA Maj. John Puller, killed in 1953. Army Lt. Gen. George S. Patton III’s grandfather was CSA Col. George Patton, killed in 1864. The father of Army Lt. Gen. Simon Bolivar Buckner Jr., killed in Okinawa in 1945 as commander of the U.S. 10th Army, was CSA Gen. Simon Bolivar Buckner. U.S. Air Corps Brigadier Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest III was shot down and killed over Germany in 1942; his great grandfather was CSA Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest. President Theodore Roosevelt’s uncle was CSA Chief Foreign Agent, Capt. James D. Bullock, Confederate States Navy. President Woodrow Wilson’s father, Rev. J.R. Wilson, was CSA chaplain. President Harry S. Truman, who was a Sons of Confederate Veterans member, is a descendant of William Young, a trooper in the Missouri Partisan Rangers. CSA generals Joe Wheeler, Fitzhugh Lee, Thomas Rosser, Mathew C. Butler and Col. William Oates all served our nation after the war as generals in the Spanish-America War in 1898.   More than 70 million Americans, many of whom served honorably in our U.S. armed forces, are descended from these men.   It is our duty to honor all of our veterans – their monuments, their symbols and…

Moore Wants Muslims, Not Confederates

From: Dixie Heritage Newsletter (dixie.heritage.letter@aol.com) Date: Fri, Jun 24, 2016   Floridians often joke about Publix being our one shared pride as a State. Whether Republican or Democrat; North Floridians or South; white, black, Latino, or otherwise, it seems the one thing that the vast majority of residents can completely agree upon is that we love a good Publix supermarket. Shopping there is, as we all know, an absolute pleasure.   We know this, and yet we didn’t expect that a special panel assembled by the state government would recommend replacing a statue of a Confederate General with one of Publix and its founder George Jenkins.   That’s right, Florida could send a statue of Jenkins to sit in the Capital Building in Washington, D.C.   The National Statuary Hall houses two statues from each state, honoring their most historic and important citizens in the halls of the U.S. Capitol building. One of Florida’s current statues is of the Confederate Army’s Gen. Edmund Kirby Smith.     This week an ad hoc committee of the state’s Great Floridians Program met to select the three finalists who should replace him.   Here are your contestants: * environmentalist Marjory Stoneman Douglas * Civil Rights icon Mary McLeod Bethune * George Jenkins, the Publix guy.   The panel selected the finalists from 259 names submitted by Floridians. That said, 153 of the 259 votes were for Tim Tebow. Also beating the three “finalists” in the vote count were two of the States more famous icons: Flipper the dolphin and Mickey Mouse.   The voters of Florida be damned, Douglas and Bethune have dominated the conversation since the beginning of the movement to replace Smith. Their finalist status is no surprise. Jenkins is really the only shocker on the shortlist.   By the way,…

Repudiating Confederate Flag Ban

From: Dixie Heritage Newsletter (dixie.heritage.letter@aol.com) Date: Fri, Jun 17, 2016 Subject: Repudiating Confederate Flag Ban     The latest push against the Confederate flag is coming from the pulpit.   Last week, the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, announced that it will remove images of the flag on its stained glass windows.   This week, the Southern Baptist Convention voted that members stop displaying the Confederate flag.   Black Texas pastor Dwight McKissic proposed the Confederate flag resolution to the SBC national convention which has met this week in St. Louis.   “The SBC supported the Confederacy and was emotionally and philosophically attached to the Confederacy,” McKissic proclaimed.   The SBC was created in 1845 in response to a number of theological disagreements with the churches of Northern states. McKissic, and certain liberal/modernist-leaning SBC leaders like Russell Moore and Albert Mohler are falsely proclaiming that the SBC was established to promote slavery throughout the South.   I did not believe that the matter would even come up for vote this week because many within the SBC leadership were skeptical about how the proposal would be received. No doubt it was only brought to the floor to distract the messengers from weightier matters that the leadership did not to publicly address. This is always the case, remember the “Disney Boycott” – typically these are “red herring” issues.   More surprisingly, when they brought the resolution to the floor, a large block of members demonstrated their commitment to the proposal.   Messengers proposed changes to the original proposal, and leaders, not wanting the matter to be too divisive, even suggested references to family history and maintaining the flag as a symbol of Southern pride. But in the end, the Messengers approved the resolution as originally proposed and called for outright removal rather…

Resolution Of Condemnation Against Proposed Veterans Administration Bill

PRESS RELEASE   RESOLUTION OF CONDEMNATION AGAINST PROPOSED VETERANS ADMINISTRATION BILL   (ATLANTA – May 31, 2016) The Georgia Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans condemns in the most vehement manner H.R. 4974 passed on May 19, 2016 entitled “Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017″ which included an anti-Southern bigoted amendment to prohibit large scale displays of Confederate flags in Veterans Administration Cemeteries (effectively, all national cemeteries), including mass Confederate graves. The proposed resolution is a slap in the face of every military veteran who has ever served his native state and country and should be repugnant to all Americans who value the American principles of patriotism and liberty embodied in the Confederate dead buried in national parks and cemeteries.   Congress has officially recognized Confederate veterans buried in national cemeteries at least as far back as 1906 when Congress passed Public Law 38, 59th Congress which authorized the expenditure of federal funds to provide headstones for Confederate veterans buried in federal cemeteries. Another act of the 70th Congress which passed on Feb. 26, 1929 extended the authorization of federal funds for Confederate headstones in private cemeteries. On May 26, 1930, new regulations adopted by the War Department further provided for Confederate headstones to include the inscription of the Southern Cross of Honour in addition to the soldier’s name, rank, company, and regiment.   On December 14, 1898, in a speech following the Spanish-American War, President William McKinley said this of honouring Confederate dead as all other American veterans, “…every soldier’s grave made during our unfortunate civil war is a tribute to American valor… And the time has now come… when in the spirit of fraternity we should share in the care of the graves of the Confederate soldiers…The cordial feeling now happily existing…

Can You Begin To See Where “Civil Rights” Is Taking Us?

Can You Begin To See Where “Civil Rights” Is Taking Us?   May 8, 2016 by Al Benson Jr.   Decades ago now we were told by some in government and in the “news”media that we needed civil rights for blacks to end segregation in the South and so that blacks could begin to be able to vote. So, after multitudinous marches, demonstrations, sit-ins and other media-driven events blacks finally achieved some of those “civil rights” everyone was told they needed. If, at this point, you are going to ask me if I have a problem sitting next to a black family in a restaurant, I don’t. I have no problem with folks all being treated equally. Problem is, that some folks have gotten to the point where they feel they are entitled to be treated more equally than the rest of us, and, as usual, the ruling Marxist Regime in Washington totally agrees with them.   In fact, let’s be rather blunt. When it comes to equal treatment in this Kountry anymore, white Southern Christians are at the absolute bottom of the totem pole and everyone else is supposed to denigrate them and their accomplishments with equal abandon as history is erased, reconstituted, and historical memory is obliterated, to be replaced with–well, you don’t want to know with what. That will spoil your supper.   Several months ago, per request, I did an article that appeared in The Free Magnolia, a newspaper put out by the League of the South. The title of the article was The Marxist Side of Civil Rights. For those who have bothered to do any research on the “Civil Rights Movement” they will realize that it had (and has) a Marxist side. The “news” media just doesn’t bother to tell you about that because…

The Real Lincoln In His Own Words

The Real Lincoln in His Own Words   by Thomas J. DiLorenzo Mises.org   After writing two books and dozens of articles, and giving hundreds of radio and television interviews and public presentations on the subject of Lincoln and the political economy of the American “Civil War”over the past fifteen years, I have realized that the only thing the average American knows about the subject is a few slogans that we are all subjected to in elementary school. I was taught in public elementary school in Pennsylvania that Abe was so honest that he once walked six miles to return a penny to a merchant who undercharged him (and six miles back home). He was supposedly so tendered hearted that he cried after witnessing the death of a turkey. He suffered in silence his entire life after witnessing slavery as a teenager (While everyone else in the country was screaming over the issue). And of course he was “a champion of democracy, an apostle of racial equality, and a paragon of social justice,” Joseph Fallon writes in his important new, must-read book, Lincoln Uncensored.   This view of Lincoln, writes Fallon, is only true “in official histories or in Hollywood movies” but not in reality. The reason for this historical disconnect is that “this myth of Lincoln, not the Constitution . . . now confers legitimacy on the political system of the United States.” Despite being mostly a bundle of lies, it is nevertheless the ideological cornerstone of statism in America and has been for nearly 150 years.   The real Lincoln was a dictator and a tyrant who shredded the Constitution, fiendishly orchestrated the mass murder of hundreds of thousands of fellow citizens, and did it all for the economic benefit of the special interests who funded the Republican…

Slave Quotes From The Slave Narratives

Slave quotes from the Slave Narratives   THURSDAY, MAY 12, 2016   Posted by James King SCV Camp 141 Commander Albany   In 1934-36 as part of the WPA program in the FDR administration about 2200 old former slaves were interviewed and their stories printed in books called The slave Narratives—one for each state.   Almost all spoke with love and affection for their former masters and spoke about how good slavery times was.   If one reads the Slave Narratives (available from Amazon book company) virtually all the 2000+ old former slaves interviewed as part of the WPA program in 1934-37 said —good food—a place to live–clothes to wear–kind treatment–good times etc. and spoke with affection for their former masters.   In order to justify their atrocities during the war–murder, arson, plunder, rape, theft etc. the Yankees have painted an image of the South/Confederacy as an evil empire that terribly and constantly abused slaves and “we got what we deserved”. They have repeated these lies so much over the past 185 years since about 1830 that many of these modern day liberals really and sincerely believe it.   The faithful slaves took care of the white women and children while the Southern men were away in the Confederate army. A monument at Arlington cemetery even depicts a white Confederate soldier handing his baby to a black slave lady to take care of while he is away. There were no riots in the South while the white men were away. Lincoln and the Yankee radicals tried to create riots but it did not happen. That was why he wrote the Emancipation Proclamation which freed no one. After the war many slaves stayed on with their “white family” on the plantation or farm where they had been raised and cared for….

The History And Development Of Slavery In America

The History And Development Of Slavery In America   WEDNESDAY, MAY 11, 2016   I understand that Alex Haley (Roots Movie Producer) was once watching TV showing starving sick diseased Africans and said “If not for slavery that could be me. Every time a black sees a Confederate flag he should kiss it”.   But it was the flags of Spain, Portugal, England, France, and the Dutch and later the American flag by Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and New York that brought the slaves to America.   SO WHY DO OUR HISTORY BOOKS LEAVE THESE SEVEN FACTS OUT?   1) The slave trade prospered in West Africa 40 years before Columbus even discovered America. African tribes actually conducted raids on their neighbors for the express purpose of enslaving them. Tragically, slavery is practiced to this very day in places like the Sudan, Zaire and Nigeria.   2) Five European powers (Spain, Portugal, France, Holland and Britain) competing for New World influence all employed slavery, with Brazil (Portugal’s crown jewel) topping the list at 5.5 million slaves, half of the total brought to the New World. By 1860, their numbers had dwindled to a little over 2 million.   3) Only 6% of Africans reached our shores (about 600,000). By 1860 their numbers had increased (without new importations) to almost 4 million, the only slave population in recorded history to increase in captivity. Indigent Anglo-Celts filled the need for slaves (as indentured servants) Most white Southerners are descendants of these early bondsmen.   4) Slavery was practiced in all thirteen colonies and NY City was second only to Charleston SC in 1776 as the city with the highest percentage of slaves. Sojourner Truth was born Isabella Van Wagner, a slave in New York.   5) The liberal guilt, which…
